About
Lydstep Haven
This is a
beautiful, quiet cove, 3 miles from Tenby, adjoining National
Trust coastline, and is in an area of outstanding natural
beauty. I have had a caravan on this site for over ten years and
never tire of it. There is a heated swimming pool and
entertainment is provided at Lydstep House, which was once the
private estate of the Earl of Essex, and is now used for the
benefit of holidaymakers. The facility includes bars, a
restaurant and children’s entertainment, with discos, theme
evenings and barbecues throughout the holiday season. On
arrival, you will be given a ‘What’s On’ holiday package for
your information. There is children’s playground and laundrette
on the site, along with a hire shop with bikes, pushchairs,
cots, etc. During the summer a bus service runs hourly from the
site to Tenby.
Pembrokeshire
The
coastline of Pembrokeshire is magnificent, with sandy beaches
and coves, rugged cliffs and caves within walking distance of
Lydstep beach. Lydstep Caverns are just around the headland.
Ancient castles can be found at Manorbier ( 2.5 miles) and
Pembroke ( 8 miles), along with many others. Caldey Island lies
just off Tenby and boat trips can be taken there from Tenby
harbour. The island is owned by monks, who live in the monastery
there, producing perfume and chocolate. Lydstep beach is sand
and pebbles, with rocky outcrops to explore at low tide. The sea
is very safe for bathing, and being a sheltered bay, is very
calm.
Thank you
for your interest. You will not be disappointed if you decide to
book a holiday with me.
