You are not left out at Lydstep Beach as you can enjoy all the entertainment at Kiln Park with free rides there and back, or just stay on this park.
Lydstep Haven is the ideal holiday destination for a short break in Pembrokeshire. My family and I stayed in a static caravan home overlooking the sea, and enjoyed the 5 days thoroughly.
The blue flag Lydstep Beach is only a minute away, which provides beautiful views over to Caldey Island. Furthermore, the on-site clubhouse is home to a bar, restaurant, arcade, and a lifeguarded swimming pool.
I'd personally recommend visiting the restaurant during midday/morning hours, as it is far less crowded due to the entertainment they host during the evenings. Because of this, the food is a much higher standard, and arrives noticeably quicker.
Alongside the pool and arcade, there are plenty more things to do in the area. Tenby is only a short drive away, which is home to plenty of activities, beaches, and eating places. Alternatively, you could visit Manorbier, which has a castle overlooking its own beach.
I'd definitely recommend going here during the summer for a short break. The static caravans can vary in quality depending on how much you pay, but are generally good and completely satisfy your needs. There are also on-site services such as a reception area, a shop, launderette, and security.
Superb check in that was not expected for a Haven park, a really welcoming reception seated and offered refreshments and given so much info by very friendly team members.
The caravan was well appointed and cleaned to an acceptable standard. The beds made up for our arrival and lots of essentials like tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, bleach, loo roll etc - so very appreciated.
We chose Lydstep due to its location and it didn’t disappoint at all.
Stunning views from which ever Van you are given and a stones throw from the coastal walk of Pembrokeshire.
Amazing sunrises and sunsets over the private beach and views over to Caldey Island.
Really close to Tenby and the local shops etc.
If you want to join in the pub atmosphere of the club house at the very far end of the site - you can - lots of owners use this and all know each other, not our cup of tea but we didn’t chose it for that.
In dire pool is small but has lots of different activities - these can add up if you don’t pre purchase tickets.
Very quite of an evening away from the Manor house.
Beautiful park grounds that are well maintained and provide yet more walking !
The nicest gateman ever welcomes you - Kevin he’s a star.
